We woke up to snow on Monday.... A lot of snow. We layed in bed and watched it come down. Hadlee told Colby she wanted pancakes, the kind where the slide is. (McDonald's) So we all bundled up and went and played for a while. What else do you do on a miserable day.
Hadlee had preschool graduation this week at the daycare. She is starting to act so old and wants to please us.
They asked each of the kids a bunch of questions, starting with what they want to be when they grow up. So they drew pictures of the kids doing what they said they wanted to be. Some kids said they wanted to be Doctors, dancers, Vets, and even motorcycle riders. When they asked Hadlee what she wanted to be when she grew up, she said that she wants to go to school. They said, what about after school, and she stated that she just wants to go to school like daddy. So they drew her picture in a cap and gown.

The kids also started swimming lessons. They do private lessons and we only go a few days a week. I was worried that they might cry, but they did great. They focus on life saving, so they learn to go straight to their backs and float. Hanks is a pro at this, he sticks his chubby arms behind his head and just floats to the other side.
Being pregnant, I don't think I want the weather really hot, but in the 80's would be nice. Summer is such a fun, busy time. It seems like every weekend we have somewhere to be, we worked our work schedules out so that most of the time we both work Mon, Tues and Wed, so we can have long weekends to play. Hadlee also starts a kindergarten boot camp class this month and we are starting dance lessons again. She is also going to a movie a week and on fieldtrips with daycare. Add in swimming lessons and work and I already feel like I am going to pop, so we will see how things go.
