Playing Catch Up

I have been such a slacker at the whole blog thing. I wanted to use this as a journal and I have been failing. Hopefully I will do better in the future.

So......This past week......On Tuesday we got home from Puerto Vallarta. We had a great time. We took my mom for her 50th Birthday, (my dad came too) Mike and Torie, Chance and Baby Hanks. Hadlee stayed with Aunt Hayley and had a blast playing with all of the kids. I really felt bad about not taking her this time. She would have had so much fun playing on the beach, and in the pool. I am trying to talk Colby into going back next month and taking her. Hanks did pretty good. He likes being the only child, and being spoiled by everyone. He is only three months old and is already a traveler. He has already been to Las Vegas to the NFR, and to Disneyland.

We arrived on Thursday and played on the beach for a while, and then went to Pipi's for dinner. On Friday we drove to Salulita and played on the beach. On Saturday we got Beto to take us out on the boat for the day. We went early so we could fish on the way. The boys caught 14 fish.(Dad only caught one, and it was the last one.) We saw Dolphins and stingrays. Mom and Torie got very seasick. We Snorkeled for a while and then went to the beach and had the resturant cook up a few fish for lunch. Chance parasailed while there and loved it. That night we went to the Malacon and shoped and had dinner. On Sunday they went and did the Canopy, 14 different ziplines over the mountains. Jonny even did it. We relaxed at the condo the rest of the day and watched the superbowl in Spanish. On Monday we went to Lapalpa and had breakfest on the beach, then to the flee market, then played in the pool and ocean the rest of the day. We went to pacifica grill that night for Dinner. On Tuesday the boys went fishing and had great time. They caught 7 more fish, and saw dolphins, whales and a turtle. We are alway so excited at the end of a vacation to come home and see Hadlee. For the next few days she always gives us extra hugs and kisses.

On Wednesday, back to the real world. I was on call, so that always makes me on edge, even though I don't do that many visits. On Friday we went up to the Hunting expo and later that night, out with Colby's friends to celebrate the Chinese New Year. We went to a Korean resturant and then back to Jeremy's house for dessert. On Saturday we went to Cole's Birthday Party. Hadlee was not feeling good and kept holding her ears. We left the party early and took her to the Doctor. She has been a very healthy kid, She has not been to a sick child check since she was 4 months old. She has a cold and has an ear infection. As soon as we gave her the first dose of medicine she began to act better. There is nothing worse than a sick child.

Sunday we had dinner at mom's. (Of course, Heather doesn't cook.) Then went to family home evening with Colby's family.
