Easter, Easter, Easter

We have had a very busy few days. So sorry for all the pictures.

Thursday night, we went over to my moms to dye Easter Eggs.

Then they watched a bunny video.


Friday night, The kids and I, went up to Salt Lake to watch Colby play in some softball games. He had been worked a lot of hours and we had hardly seen him. They lost both games and it was cold, but we still had fun.

We didn't get home from the ball games till after midnight, so we were going to try and sleep in. But Hanks woke up around 8, so we decided we might as well go to the Easter Egg Hunt. We got there, and got our gift sacks, and started playing the games. They had pin the tail on the bunny, races, and other booths, but it started to rain.

We went and got hot chocolate to kill time.

It was over in seconds, but was still fun. Jayce even won an MP3 player.

We then picked up Colby and headed up to the canyon to join Aunt Pam's Easter Egg Hunt. She always goes all out and has breakfast, a big scavenger hunt with fun prizes and a egg hunt. We didn't stay long, because Colby had to get to work, but we had a blast.



We went home and got ready for my mom and dad's Easter Party. It continued to rain, so Hadlee got her wish and got to wear a "Party Dress," instead of warm clothes, because we knew the hunt would be moved inside.

We had a yummy lunch, then played Easter Bingo, colored pictures, and got to play a game with money in the eggs.

Hanks slept most of the party, but still found time to get into trouble.

Then today, Easter morning, we waited till Colby got home from work, to follow the trail, the Easter Bunny had left.

This is Hadlee posing with the flowers I bought her at Costco the other day. I am seriously a sucker. We walked by them and she just kept commenting on how wonderful they were and how pretty, and I just had to buy her some.

This is Hanks getting in on the act. How can a kid that cute, be such a pain.

Then this afternoon we had a delicious ham dinner over at DeAnnes's with all the Jacobson's.

Hanks finally started getting the whole, finding eggs thing.

Hadlee had a blast finding eggs and just being around her cousins.

Sometimes Colby and I talk about moving away for a few years and how it would be such a fun adventure. Then....... we have fun weekends with our families, and I don't know how we could ever leave. We have such wonderful families, and are very blessed to be so close.
